You must contact Vetsure to activate your cover. Cover for accidents starts immediately once your free trial has been activated. There is a 14 day ‘waiting period’ for illness conditions –meaning illness conditions occurring or showing clinical signs during this period will be excluded.

Making a claim (Any Insurer)
Making a claim with us is simple:
Contact your insurance provider – they will advise you on the best way to start your claim.
Provide your claim form – you can bring it to us, email it to us in Swindon or Reading, or (if your insurer uses a portal) submit the claim online and they’ll contact us directly.
We’ll handle our part – once we have everything we need, we’ll send your invoices and supporting information to your insurer.
💡 Please note: Your pet’s insurance policy is in your name, so it is your responsibility to make sure all steps are followed correctly.
Direct Claims
You can request a direct claim for large one off payments, for this we would need a completed direct claim request and your insurance certificate. You can download the form here . Please note that this is not a claim form, you will still be required to start a claim via your insurer (portal or manual form). We charge £16.50 for this service, unless you are a member of our First Klass Health Plan.
