Background: Liam Powell joined our team as a Student Veterinary Nurse, bringing with him a diverse background and a deep passion for animal welfare. His journey began in the horticulture industry, but a love for animals led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. In 2021, he started as a night kennel assistant at Hamiltons Specialist Referrals, where he gained valuable experience and simultaneously completed an online diploma in hydrotherapy.
Clinical Interest: Liam transitioned to a student nurse position at Hamiltons in January 2023, spending over a year honing his skills. His experience includes working in the ward with inpatients, as well as acting as a surgical and anaesthetic nurse for a wide range of procedures. He has been in training throughout this time, continually expanding his knowledge and expertise.
At Home: Liam stays active through various sports and gym workouts. He also enjoys quieter moments at home, reading and relaxing with his three cats and cockerpoo. Liam is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients and ensuring their well-being.
