Background Kate graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2004 and initially practiced in a small animal primary care veterinary practice in West Sussex. She then embarked on a career spanning over a decade in exclusively Emergency and Critical Care services. Her journey progressed from a junior Veterinary Surgeon to an Area Director managing multiple emergency clinics in the South West and the Midlands. Kate recently joined Vets Klinic as our second Veterinary Director.
Clinical Interest Kate holds a postgraduate certificate in Emergency and Critical Care and has earned the status of an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care. She is also a qualified instructor in animal CPR, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to her role.
At Home Outside of work, Kate is deeply committed to supporting Ukraine’s efforts to defend itself against recent Russian aggression. She actively participates in fundraising, volunteers her time, and assists Ukrainian refugees who have recently evacuated to the UK. This cause is very close to her heart as she is Ukrainian-born, although she has lived in the UK for the majority of her life.
